Cosmo Shred was the first company to provide shredding services for businesses in Saskatoon.  We are proud of being the pioneers of this service in our city.  Our story is a fascinating one and is chronicled in the centennial issue of the Edwards School of Business Thrive Magazine in an article entitled, “Launch of a Legacy.”

With a grant from BHP Billiton we upgraded our secure facility and achieved the gold standard of document destruction certification, Triple A from NAID. Our customers in the business, banking, medical, government and educational fields rely on Cosmo Shred to destroy sensitive and confidential information.

We ask businesses and organizations in Saskatoon and area to become part of the Cosmo success story. Some of our customers have been with us for decades.  We don’t do contracts, we do relationships.  We use a Service Agreement to describe the services we will perform for you and the cost.  Meet your shredding or office recycling needs while building a better future for amazing people with intellectual disabilities.

Cosmo Industries’ programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals with  intellectual disabilities and, in doing so, they build on the foundations developed by families and relationships in the community at large. From young adults finished with high school to senior citizens, Cosmo serves over 400 participants in Saskatoon and area.  Our vision is an enhanced quality of life for adults with intellectual disabilities.  Details on the opportunities we provide through our Life Enrichment and Supported Work programs can be explored at our main website, cosmoindustries.com.

To get a sense of the wide variety of programs, activities and involvement in the community, check out the current or past issues of our newsletter, the Cosmo Communicator.  We have archives going back to 2011 by clicking here and even more pictures, videos and stories are available on Cosmo Industries’ facebook page.

Individuals with intellectual disabilities are in danger of being marginalized in our society.  In an information economy, document destruction is a niche where persons with limited literacy skills can excel.  Join us to create progress through procurement by contracting, not only to buy the service you need but also, to achieve sustainable development, social and environmental objectives in our community.

Please contact us for more information on our mission or to arrange for a tour of our Day Program centre on Alberta Ave or at one of our satellite locations.
